Rolling Stools
Rolling stools are an indispensable accessory for anyone looking to approach their profession with professionalism. Your performance is influenced not only by your expertise but also by the equipment you use and the working conditions. Continuously working with clients can be extremely tiring, especially if you don’t have a comfortable place to sit in between. Therefore, treat yourself to a comfortable rolling stool!
A Rolling Stool with or without Wheels?
A rolling stool with wheels has many advantages. Whether or not to choose wheels is a personal preference. For instance, it’s very convenient to move around easily as a therapist during a session. The major downside of a stool with wheels is that it’s often more difficult to transport. Stools without wheels can usually be folded and carried in the carrying case of a massage table, whereas a stool with wheels typically cannot be folded. You would need to disassemble it first to take it with you. This can be less practical if you have multiple clients in one day.
The Benefits of an Adjustable Rolling Stool
In most cases, an ergonomic stool is adjustable in height. However, it's important to note that this is not the only way an ergonomic stool can be adjustable. For example, some ergonomic stools can also tilt, and some come with an adjustable backrest. Although these features offer more flexibility, they are often more expensive.
If you choose a stool with a backrest, it’s important to pay attention to the width of the backrest. A narrow backrest offers more freedom of movement and supports the middle part of the lower back. On the other hand, a wide backrest supports the entire lower back but provides less freedom of movement.
What to Look for When Buying a Rolling Stool?
A rolling stool is one of the most important accessories to complete your practice or studio. There are a few things to consider when purchasing a stool. It’s important that the upholstery of the stool is made from a durable and smooth fabric. Since you move a lot on a saddle stool during a session, it’s beneficial if the fabric is smooth. This prevents chafing during the treatment and ensures that it doesn't rub against the inside of your legs. Our stools are made from high-quality vinyl, which is smooth, durable, and designed to last.
Additionally, it’s important to consider the cushioning of the stool. Our massage stools are filled with polyurethane foam, which provides optimal comfort.
Also, pay attention to the diameter of the footrest. Massage therapists and practitioners often prefer a smaller footrest diameter, around 50 cm, as it allows them to get closer to the massage table without bumping into it. This makes working more comfortable. On the other hand, a larger footrest with a diameter of, for example, 60 cm, provides more stability, which is advantageous when working behind a desk or worktable. Choose the stool that best suits your needs and work environment. Create a comfortable setting for both your clients and yourself with our high-quality rolling stools!
