Cupping Massage Cups
Did you know that cupping has been used for centuries?
Cupping is a method that has been practiced for centuries by Egyptians and Greeks. It later became popular in China. In the past, cupping was used for treating fever, snake bites, and pain. There are many different types of cupping.
Cupping massage is an alternative therapy that increases blood circulation in the area where the cups are applied. The skin is suctioned into the cup, causing it to rise. The vacuum effect is strong, stimulating blood flow and energy circulation. The strong localized blood flow helps to remove waste products from adhesions and deep muscle knots.
Cupping massages contribute to a healthy fascial network. We believe it’s important that cupping cups are of good quality, so we only offer skin-friendly and safe massage cups. But what exactly is a cupping massage? When should you perform a cupping massage, and what are its effects? What types of cups are there? We explain it all in our blog about cupping massage!
Silicone or Glass Cupping Sets?
Cupping uses special cups. Our cupping cups are made from silicone, plastic, or glass. Silicone cups are very easy to use because they are more flexible and adapt to the shape of the body. They are easy to glide over the skin, acting like a massage movement. Additionally, silicone cups are unbreakable and easy to take with you.
Cups made from polycarbonate (PC) are highly impact-resistant and heat-resistant. These cups are non-breakable, increasing their lifespan. PC is also resistant to many oils and fats, like ethanol and diluted acids. It's important to thoroughly clean the skin before use and remove excessive body hair before treatment, as too much hair can reduce suction strength.
Glass cups allow you to regulate the applied pressure. The high suction power of the ball or pump helps you perform a cupping massage. This type of cupping is gentle and painless, although bruising may be more visible. Additionally, these glass cups are easy to clean and disinfect. They can even be washed in the dishwasher! Our glass cupping set is made from high-quality materials specifically for the cosmetic and medical industries.
Vacuum Cupping Set with Pump
In the past, cupping was performed with glass bulbs and fire to create a vacuum in the cups. At Zengrowth, we believe this technique is outdated and no longer offer it. Today, there are safer cupping techniques that don’t require fire. Now, you can easily use a hand pump to create a vacuum.
A cupping set with a pump is ideal if you want to better regulate the suction strength. Place the cups on the desired area and pump out the air to create a vacuum in the cup. This negative pressure pulls body tissues outward, which positively affects the skin and muscles beneath the cup.
Cupping for the Whole Body and Face
Facial and body cupping are performed differently. Cupping improves overall health by removing energy blockages and promoting a healthy flow of energy or qi. The biggest benefits of cupping include local pain relief and muscle relaxation.
Did you know that cupping massage for the face helps reduce wrinkles and puffiness? It stimulates the skin's blood flow, reducing fine lines, softening scar tissue, and firming the skin. Additionally, it cleanses your pores, making them smaller and leaving your skin radiant.
Our facial cupping set includes two small cups and two medium cups, ideal for facial treatments. These cups are softer, smaller, and suitable for sensitive skin.
